Glen DeCarteret, C.P. Prosthetist
With over twenty years of experience in prosthetics, Glen served the Boston area and worked extensively with New England Rehabilitation Hospital, where he worked closely with all members of the rehabilitation team.
His credentials include:
- American Board of Certification, 1986
- Graduate, Prosthetic Certificate Program, Northwestern University Medical School, 1983
- A.A., University of New Hampshire, 1983
- Specialties: Dysvascular and Diabetic Amputees
Glen is currently accepting new patients, and is available for consultation for individuals, surgeons, and rehabilitation teams.
"Sound principles of fit and alignment combined with innovation, technology and a friendly manner enhance his prosthetic specialities," said Roger Park. "He provides the patient with the care that they expect and deserve."
Glen and his wife have been coming to Bethel, Maine for 19 years for weekends and vacations. They are happy to be able to fulfill a dream of living and working in Maine. Glen welcomes the opportunity to serve amputees in this area.

Jami Morton, C.O. Orthotist
With over twenty years experience in orthotics, Jami served the Southern New Hampshire area. Jami is highly skilled at creating custom orthotics that meet the changing needs of patients. She strives to help people maximize their potential so that they may achieve their individual goals and interests.
Her credentials include:
- American Board of Certification, 1995
- Graduate, Orthotic Certificate Program, Northwestern University Medical School, 1990
- Bachelor of Science, Physical Education, Castleton State College, 1983
Jami is currently accepting new patients, and is available for consultation for individuals, physical therapists and rehabilitation teams.
Jami was born and raised in the Rangeley area and recently returned to Maine to continue her profession serving the residents of Maine. Jami enjoys all aspects of orthotics, with special interests in spine management and pediatrics. |

Roger Park, C.O. Orthotist
President and Co-owner of Sound Limbs Orthotics & Prosthetics, Roger has practiced in the field of orthotics since 1991. Roger has served the Lewiston/Auburn and Western Maine region since 1979.
His credentials include:
- American Board of Certification, 1990
- Graduate, Orthotic Certificate Program, Northwestern University Medical School, 1989
- M.S. & B.S., Springfield College, 1982 & 1972
- Specialties: Spinal bracing for scoliosis and sports trauma. Lower extremity/foot pain, especially sports related syndromes.
- Educator: Orthotics and Sports Medicine Seminars, 1977- present
- Annual Sound Limbs Seminar next scheduled for June, 2007
Roger is pleased to serve as a board member for the Maine Governor's Council on Physical Fitness, Sports, Health, and Wellness. He brings his experience of twenty five years in orthotics, athletic training and education to the forum, with the goal of improving the health of Maine's citizens.
Mr. Park "takes one patient at a time" and is committed to focusing on the individual as well as the orthotic needs of every patient. He counts himself to be blessed with a great staff and a wonderful co-owner, his wife, Elizabeth.

Elizabeth Operations Manager
Elizabeth is the Co-Owner and Operations Manager of Sound Limbs. From the company's inception in 1991, she has done it all, from answering telephones to assisting staff to managing day to day needs of the business. She is an integral part of the team.
Elizabeth oversees all departments within Sound Limbs. She is responsible for Accounts Payable, Insurance Contracting, as well as requirements as SL's HIPAA officer.
Besides 30 years of experience in working with the public, she brings to Sound Limbs a love of people and tremendous desire to serve.

Libby Administrative Assistant/Billing Manager
Libby serves as Sound Limb's administrative assistant. When you call Sound Limbs to make an appointment, Libby will guide you through the process with care.
She gained strong customer service and administrative skills in Brooklyn, NY, where she lived for ten years and worked in the retail, legal and banking industries.
Libby returned to her hometown of Lisbon, Maine in 2002. She enjoys spending time with her two children, crafting and making novelty chocolates.

Tracey Patient Services Coordinator
Tracey has worked in the medical field for over nine years in both neurosurgical and family practice settings.
Tracey has lived in Sabattus restoring her farmhouse for over 22 years with her husband. She has two grown daughters and loves Zumba, crafting and gardening. |

Ray Orthotic and Prosthetic Technician/Registered Fitter
Ray has been with Sound Limbs since 1999. He is an ABC Registered Orthotic Fitter. In addition to his patient duties, he has seven years of experience as a technician.
Ray is in charge of training new technicians and learning new techniques. He also handles our ordering and Quality Control.
Ray has watched Sound Limbs grow through the years and states,“Sound Limbs is a company that provides the community with only the best orthoses and prostheses made of high quality with pride.” He feels that a team atmosphere makes Sound Limbs a very positive place to work.
Ray has an excellent work ethic and is a valuable asset to our Operation.

Angel Orthotic and Prosthetic Technician/Registered Fitter
Angel brings her technical skills and training to Sound Limbs after 15 years in the orthotics and prosthetics field in Maine. She began her career in the field after completing a technician training program at Harmarville's Rehabilitation Prosthetic and Orthotic Center in her home town of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
She now lives in Brunswick with her two children. She enjoys spending time with her family, rollerblading and gardening. She especially enjoys working with children. |
