At Sound Limbs Orthotics & Prosthetics, we are dedicated to providing customized, high-quality prosthetics and orthotics to our patients. We design devices for patients ranging from infants to the elderly, and we strive to develop the most appropriate treatment plan for your orthotic and prosthetic care needs.
Our team will work closely with you, your physician and your physical therapist by keeping open lines of communication. Our patients come to us by medical referral only, and we benefit from close relationships with the doctors and physical therapists in the communities we serve.
We begin with a biomechanical evaluation to better understand your gait, posture, muscle strength and range of joint motion. This helps us to appropriately design and fit the devices that are most suitable. We are dedicated to our patients and aim to help you with your mobility and comfort. Wade Bonnesson, CPO
ABC Certified Prosthetist and Orthotist
Wade is committed to partnering with patients, physicians and rehabilitation teams in support of effective treatment plans and excellent patient experience and outcomes. In the past, he has served as a Prosthetic/Orthotic Residency Director, responsible for training and staff development for the past 15 years in an effort to create technical and clinical depth in respective organizations.

Roger Park, CO
ABC Certified Orthotist
President and Co-owner of Sound Limbs Orthotics & Prosthetics, Roger has practiced in the field of orthotics since 1991. Roger has served the Lewiston/Auburn and Western Maine region since 1979.
His credentials include:
  • American Board of Certification, 1990
  • Graduate, Orthotic Certificate Program, Northwestern University Medical School, 1989
  • M.S. & B.S., Springfield College, 1982 & 1972
  • Specialties: Spinal bracing for scoliosis and sports trauma. Lower extremity/foot pain, especially sports related syndromes.
  • Educator: Orthotics and Sports Medicine Seminars, 1977 - present
  • Owner of Acadia Orthotics - a Maine-based company that caters to athletes
Roger served as a board member for the Maine Governor's Council on Physical Fitness, Sports, Health, and Wellness. He brings his experience of twenty five years in orthotics, athletic training and education to the forum, with the goal of improving the health of Maine's citizens.
Mr. Park "takes one patient at a time" and is committed to focusing on the individual as well as the orthotic needs of every patient. He counts himself to be blessed with a great staff and a wonderful co-owner, his wife, Elizabeth.
 

 
 
 
Glen DeCarteret, CP
ABC Certified Prosthetist
With over thirty years of experience in prosthetics, Glen served the Boston area and worked extensively with New England Rehabilitation Hospital, where he worked closely with all members of the rehabilitation team.
His credentials include:
  • American Board of Certification, 1986
  • Graduate, Prosthetic Certificate Program, Northwestern University Medical School, 1983
  • A.A., University of New Hampshire, 1983
Specialties: Dysvascular and Diabetic Amputees

Glen is currently accepting new patients, and is available for consultation for individuals, surgeons, and rehabilitation teams.

Glen and his wife live in Bethel Maine. They are happy to be able to fulfill a dream of living and working in Maine. Glen welcomes the opportunity to serve amputees in this area.
 

 
 
 
Elizabeth Park, BA
Operations Manager
Elizabeth is the Co-Owner and Operations Manager of Sound Limbs. From the company's inception in 1991, she has done it all, from answering telephones to assisting staff to managing day to day needs of the business. She is an integral part of the team.
Elizabeth oversees all departments within Sound Limbs. She is responsible for Accounts Payable, Insurance Contracting.
Besides 30 years of experience in working with the public, she brings to Sound Limbs a love of people and tremendous desire to serve.
 
 
 
 
Tonya Cyr
Assistant Manager
As Sound Limbs' Assistant Manager, Tonya is the primary interface between patients, staff, and practitioners. Her high level of organizational and interpersonal skills makes her the ideal individual for this position.

Tonya came to us with a background in Short Term Disability Insurance as a Senior Disability Claims Manager. She is accustomed to helping patients' concerns with ease and grace. Her calm and caring demeanor is a real asset to Sound Limbs and we are thrilled to have her on our team.

Originally from Westbrook, Tonya lives in Lewiston with her husband and their two boys. She enjoys watching them play sports and when she has a free moment in her busy life she enjoys reading.
